Owned by Jeff and Erin Hanson, Northwest Timber Frames (formerly Jeff Hanson Construction) has been designing and building finely crafted custom homes since 1991. Jeff and Erin live on picturesque Whidbey Island in Washington State in the Pacific Northwest, with their two children, Nate and Kacie.

Jeff and Erin, who were both born and raised on Whidbey, currently reside in Clinton on the south end of the island, where their roots in the community run deep. Jeff has an uncommon passion for his work and for his family.

It is always Jeff’s goal to combine the best of timber framing with conventional construction methods, always with an eye toward respecting the environment and of course his client’s budget.

“I just love the whole process of building and designing homes,” says Jeff. “Often you start with nothing more than a dream and a piece of bare land. And in the end, it’s somebody’s home, a place for them to create memories that last a lifetime.”
